Yosemite National Park – Sunrise at the Elm Tree

The first order of business this morning was to head into Cook’s Meadow, and photograph the infamous Elm Tree at sunrise, set against the backdrop of Half Dome.

We had a few minutes to kill before the sun would peak over the horizon and illuminate the Elm Tree, but there was plenty to keep my photographic attention while we waited. For example, Yosemite Falls and other assorted fall foliage!

Ahhhh, to quote some song you may have heard of, here comes the sun. And wow, what a GLORIOUS sunrise in Yosemite National Park!
